Charming, cozy 2 bedroom lake cabin rental with hard to find level lake frontage and sandy lake bottom on popular Lake Namakagon in the Chequamegon National Forest. The grassy lakeside yard opens out to a beautiful westerly view of Mumm’s Bay.
Watch stunning sunsets and the Northern night sky while enjoying a campfire in the front yard overlooking the lake. Head out from your lake cottage and explore the excellent fishing and recreational waters of Lake Namakagon with over 43 miles of shoreline, several islands and 3400 acres.

The beautiful view of the lake can also be enjoyed from the comforts of the living room. Lakeside windows capture the Northwoods scene outside. A large screen television and DVD player are provided (No Cable or Local channels). The open kitchen is off the living room and includes a gas stove, full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave and all the essentials for producing your meals.

The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. The lakeside bedroom has 2 double beds and the other bedroom has a 1 double bed.

  Home had some nice updates. Good size kitchen. Small screened in porch. Easy grade from house to lake, beach area great for kids. Overall enjoyed our stay (new mattresses would make it perfect).

  Very clean and neat cabin with all the needed amenities. Updated kitchen and living room flooring was great! Road was a little noisy but it's a main road so that is expected. Great little calm bay and amazing sunsets with the best swimming beach on the lake. Great management personnel!

  Beds were definitely not very comfortable--seems like the mattresses were old and need to be replaced. The large living room and kitchen were both really useful for our family. Although only 4 of us stayed at this location, the other 7 in our group were just down the road and many of our meals eaten together were at this house due to the available seating/table size. The alarm went off for the septic tank on our second day there and a wonderful neighbor came over and explained what was happening. They even called it in for us right away. The outdoor area was large enough to let our toddlers run around and play, and although we only used it once, the fire pit near the lake was nice. Having a large pier was also a plus as we rented a large pontoon boat for the week and had plenty of space for it. Best part of this home is that it's right on the lake! The shallow, sandy beach is perfect for smaller children with a bit deeper water at the end of the pier for older kids who would rather jump right in. With such a large group, we only ate out 2-3 times during this trip but thoroughly enjoyed Pioneer Bar with its great burgers and friendly, family atmosphere. We also enjoyed Loon Saloon - both the restaurant and the attached store for any forgotten necessities as well as a few souvenirs. Fish Fry at Lakewoods was one of the best ever and enjoyed by all, then Saturday morning breakfast at Garmish ended our trip. Reservations are necessary for both as they were doing a great job at social distancing during this trying time.

  Thoroughly enjoyed biking, kayaking and wakeboarding Lake Namakagon and this place had a great shoreline to be able to beach the boat, would have also been great for kids to splash and play, great spot to hang a hammock on the beach. Inside the cabin had a strong musty/ mold odor and we had to keep everything open with candles burning. It looked like everything from floor to ceiling including furniture and decor had been unchanged since about early 1980s or before except maybe a few pieces to cover dings in the walls. Washer and dryer "out of order" but likely just with breaker pulled to save electricity. No AC. Was still worth it to be in a good spot but don't expect luxury inside.
  Also there were no issues with the rental company.
