Spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bath vacation home offering hard-to-find lodging and privacy on 8 acres with 1800 feet of lakeshore bordered by the Chequamegon National Forest in Northern Wisconsin. This secluded, gated getaway is on Taylor Lake, a 100 acre lake with public boat landing, only a mile from Lake Namakagon. The rental home has a picnic table, gas grill, 64 foot dock with bench seat and swimming ladder. Wander the 8 acres or watch the nesting eagles from the living room or explore relatively undeveloped Taylor Lake.

The two level rental home has a knotty pine interior and cathedral ceiling opening to a loft with a nice sitting room, bathroom and large bedroom with 2 queen beds and a rollaway. There are ceiling fans throughout the vacation home and a washer/dryer.

The main floor consists of open living room with views of the lake, wood burning stove and sofa sleeper. Enjoy the view from the large, screen front porch or the walkout deck. Newer kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, gas stove and full sized refrigerator. In the kitchen you have a drip coffeemaker. There are two bedrooms on the main floor and two bathrooms.

This home is truly a wonderful escape in the woods. If you are seeking larger waters, Lake Namakagon is only a few minutes away but you might find that once you get here, you may not want to wander too far from this comfortable retreat.

*We have been working with the Department of Health and have new cleaning standards and procedures for all our Cabins. On each bed we will provide sheets, pillow and pillow case and blankets, you will need to bring your own towels and soaps.

  The property was secluded which was very nice. The house had plenty of room for 8 adults. Two things that I didn't realize was there was no a/c and no cell service. Thank goodness it wasn't too hot during our stay and they have internet. Fishing was good even though the lake is small. The kitchen had everything that we forgot to bring along. Great getaway!

  Very nice house that was as good as advertised. The house was clean and well kept. Lots of amenities and plenty of room. It is almost like having a private lake. Fishing was good and enjoyable. We were also close to Lake Namekagon for a much bigger body of water and expanded fishing, dining, and social opportunities. We had a great time- except for the mosquitoes which were very bad unless you were on the water.

  This property was wonderful for what we needed. We had a large group of 10 and the numerous bedrooms and bathrooms made the long weekend go very smoothly. We could have even had more people stay had we known there was room. Definitely will look to stay again when we are in the area.

  Was a wonderful place to stay. Alot of room to move trailers around and park. There was 3 bathrooms which was very nice to have. We really enjoyed the screened in porch as the mosquitos where really heavy. It was away for all other cabins and quiet.
  Only thing I would recommend is the lawn and landscaping be cleaned up some that might cut down on the bugs. The water is a little farther walk then what the pictures looked like it was. We will rent this cabin again next year.

  We love the property at Taylor Lake Point! We have been to this property several times and enjoy the secludedness of the property; the lake and the accommodations. Lots of great memories made!
  * This year we had a few hiccups, not due to anyones oversight just maybe timing. We had some challenges with the water pressure and ultimately running out of water, wifi needing to be reset and no TV (for the evenings) due to a power outage, and a few mice in the evenings. The property management company was very responsive when we called and quick to dispatch assistance.

  The house itself is absolutely amazing! The kitchen was big and bright, the living room was so cozy and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the decor, too! It is definitely a Northwoods house!
  The walk to the docks was short, and the docks are like-new and very sturdy. My husband did a little fishing, but didn't have much luck. (We might have gone to late in the season to catch much.)
  The house is very secluded and peaceful, there is only one other house visible (across the lake!).
  We did go visit BayField, apple fest was going on (YUM!) and we took a short hike to see Houghton Falls and Morgans Falls, both worth seeing!
  We also took a trip around Lake Namakagon (only 8 minutes away from the cabin), which is amazing and has some great restaurants to eat at!
  The only downfall was the grill, which was full of moss and mold, so we couldn't use it...but, the kitchen had all the tools you need to cook anyway.

  Nice quiet location and beautiful cabin. The only negative experience we had was the outside gas grill which we planned most of our meals around. It was very rusted and the gas lines had large holes. Very disappointed that we couldn't grill - needs to be replaced if they are going to continue to say there is a gas grill at this cabin. We enjoyed the lake and did a lot of kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding with our family.

  This is a beautiful Vacation home. Plenty of room for everyone. The loft is very pretty. The fishing could have been better but that was just the weather changes. Got a couple small northern. Perfect for swimming. Kids had a blast. Water is clear. The only thing I felt would have made more comfortable would have been air conditioning. In high 90's and humid. Also a little better cleaning. It was dirty under beds. All in all a very nice place to vacation. Plenty of room to run, walk, and have fun!!

  This is our 3rd time staying at this cabin. Cabin is very accommodating,clean and fits our family well. Our only disappointment is the mosquito's! Very hard to spend outside or sit on the dock. Would like permission to park a camper on the lot next door so entire family could stay on property
